Oracle ThinkQuest 2007

Pada pukul 01.03 (malem) WIB tanggal 15 Juni 2007, ane lagi nonton pilem di computer (lupa apa pilemnya), HP ane berbunyi..

Titit!!Titit!!

From : Sparsh Agarwal (+92671xxx)

Congratulation for the thinkquest!!We’ve got the 2nd Place.

Kenapa ane begitu bahagia?? Anda bakal tahu melihat hadiah apa yang ane dapet. 2nd place winners will get Students Award $1000(Sayang coach ane ga dari ITB,melayang deh), Laptop with approximately value $1250 (akhirnya ane punya laptop juga, hurrayyy) and trip to ThinkQuest Live (di SF cuyy!!Ane bisa ke Silicon Valley..). Selaen itu, yang paling utama,PENGALAMAN!!!!

Sedikit cerita tentang thinkquest.

Feedback: The opening page of the site is very well-made and designed. Simplicity is what is the best tool is and you’ve used it to the fullest. The video is very engrasping however, it could have been in the Flash format, to get universal acceptance, because many computers don’t have Quicktime Player.

Navigation is awesomely enriched and the site design is very attractive. You are one of the best sites for kids on the internet, however, the site audience should have been more universal, that is starting from around age 12 yrs to make kids aware about the ‘other side’ of the internet, before they get their hands on it.

KUDOS TO YOU ALL!

Feedback: The presentation of information is fun, especially for a topic that isn’t. I love the images of your team holding signs for each element of the site. And, to discuss censorship, “what we don’t hear”, and how firewalls can block content is a fresh approach. Excellent job illustrating sensationalism and legitimacy. The videos provide multimedia learning – important for active learning on the web.

Kudos on the intellectual honesty of your site. I have seen few do better. In addition, you have a wealth of resources for additional exploration.

Navigation is a bit confusing but not a detriment. Appearance is first rate. Global Perspective is phenomenal [I am interested in the diversity of the socioeconomic background of your team].

Congratulations on an excellent site. I look forward to referring my students and colleagues to it. I hope you can keep information current as you have provided a valuable resource for anyone who uses the web for information.

Feedback: What a terrifice web site!  I loved going through the different aspects and I learned quite a bit.  I especially liked the video on “phishing” – it surprised me that not that many people knew what it was.  The only thing that caught my eye was the fact that here in the USA “Internet” is spelled with a capital “I” because it’s considered a proper noun.  There were a few grammatical or spelling errors but not enough to detract from the site.  Thank you for a job well done!

Congratulations on this wonderful achievement!

ARC, Teknik Elektro dan HME

Posted by scooterboyz pada September 11, 2007

Hehehehe..

Mau jelasin apa lagi yah??Binun..
